Athletic Inclement Weather Guidelines

If school is cancelled for the following reasons, please note the following guidelines:

Snow Day

All events are cancelled and will be communicated via superintendent’s Skylert.  

Ice Day and Extreme Cold

Middle School:

All events and practices are cancelled.  

High School: 

Events may be allowed if travel conditions or temperatures improve throughout the day. A decision on all events will be made by district administrative personnel prior to 1:00 p.m. and communicated on the district website and social media outlets.

Practices may be allowed if travel conditions or temperatures improve throughout the day. A decision on all practices will be made by district administrative personnel prior to 1:00 p.m. and communicated to coaches.  If practices are allowed, coaches must contact student-athletes and parents and communicate the details with regard to practice.  Practices are not mandatory on these days.
